Don’t assume Back in the ’90s Heather and I backpacked around Vietnam. It was a rewarding and emotional experience from end to end, but one of the highlights, after weeks sweating our way around the country, was heading to the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi for a high end lunch. Someone suggested the other day that Queensberry’s “look” is “classic”, and if you want “hip” albums you’ll need to look elsewhere. So … how do we plead? Well yer Honour, on the one hand, it’s true … and on the other, it isn’t! Why isn’t it true? It’s your art, we just provide the frame. It’s your album, so if you want hip, make it so. We see plenty of up-to-the-minute designs going through the Bindery, and lots of classic work too. What we suggest is, pick from our paintbox whatever supports your To View More >>

We're selling more smaller albums these days, but we're stoked to see people still opting for the big books! Our 18x10 albums allow for lots of images, and high impact story-telling with their radical panoramic pages. And they translate perfectly into copy albums for parents and loved ones too. (If you've included lots of small images we recommend 10in copies for albums of this size.) This 18x10 is by husband and wife team Neil and Katherine of Tandem Photography, Christchurch, New Zealand. Notice how Neil and Katherine have personalised the album for To View More >>

In 5 years look over your album. Your child is heading off to school for the first time, but the album's pages are filled with your first moments with your son or daughter.  Look over the pile of prints from your trip to South America, where you spent two months volunteering at an orphanage. You’d never felt so free.  Look over the album of your wedding. You weren’t sure whether you wanted it but your photographer convinced you otherwise. There's the moment you said I do. Tell me then, that printing doesn’t matter, because I can guarantee you won't.  To View More >>

Modern cameras have sensors capable of producing big, beautiful images. They output files that can make large wall portraits without effort. But what happens when you want the image to be smaller, as in an album? What happens when you downsize a file that's big enough to print a large wall portrait, to create a 3x2" image on a page layout? When you export your images from Photojunction for printing, the software runs an automatic Photoshop process that resizes them and places them into a PSD file. The images are enlarged or reduced, and positioned to suit how you want them to appear on the To View More >>

Well,  Saturday the 21st June is the shortest day down under … or as we call it, Mid-Winter Christmas. Our friends up north are cranking up for the wedding season (busy busy busy), while in our part of the world people tend to be wrapping up one season, thinking about the next. I’m talking about our FREE ALBUM DESIGN AND COLOUR CORRECTION service. More than half our customers are To View More >>

Scott and I got married in February 2007. We were one of the first couples to marry in our group of friends, and needless to say we've been to many weddings since. I loved how our wedding turned out. We had an amazing day and we enjoyed every minute of it. However I've often joked with Scott that I'd love to get married again - to him of course - and if we did, there are many things I'd change the second time around. Fashions and trends have changed so much over the last six years. My tastes have changed too. I would wear my hair down to show off my curls, I would have more of a classic style wedding To View More >>
